Ruth “Ava” Louis was born in Carrefour, Haiti. She was born into a family of seven brothers and sisters. Her uneventful life was profoundly affected by the death of her younger brother while playing sports on his High School football field in Orlando, Florida.
Ruth “Ava” Louis and her family immigrated to the United States in her early teens. She attended Maynard Evans High School. She continued her education and has a B.S. in Nutrition fromBroward College and FAU.Ava works predominantly in the healthcare industry and is currently employed by Florida Hospital. She is presently pursuing a Nurse Practitioner career.
Ava is the Founder and President of the social club “Women to Women”on Facebook. She leads a group comprised of 1,700 women only and growing. The group discusses issues and topics relating and affecting women. No issue has been taboo to this group of women. The women are from different background, nationality, race, religion, education and social status. Ms. Louis will host aradio talk show entitled The Ruth Louis Show on Power 102.1 FM from her studio in Orlando, Florida.
Asides from being a mother, a caretaker, and talk show host, Ava(her artist name) is also a Zouk and R&B singer, so be on the lookout for her future albums.
